About this piece
The Rodeo, in detail
The Rodeo is the long wallet with everything: full length card slots, a secure cash section that takes notes flat, a zip pocket, and a corner for coins and SIM cards, in a body slim enough to go in a jacket yet roomy enough to carry a phone. It is the piece most often bought for a wedding or as a gift, because it looks like what it is in the box. This is the brown version.
How it is made
Cut from 100% full grain cow leather with a crazy horse finish, skived by hand at the fold, lined in calf, and closed with a saddle stitch in waxed linen thread. A long wallet has the longest seams in the range, and a saddle stitch is the reason they hold: two needles through every hole, so a single worn thread cannot open the seam the way a machine lock stitch can. The zip is metal.
What goes in it
Notes flat, cards upright in full length slots, coins and SIMs in the zipped corner, and a phone or a passport in the main pocket. It is the wallet for travel and for anyone who hates folded notes, and it belongs in a jacket, a bag or your hand rather than a trouser pocket. If you want a plainer long wallet without the zip, the Upbuck is the other one.
What it does with wear
The brown surface lightens along the fold and the edges where a bag or a sleeve rubs it, and darkens across the back panel where it is held. Scratches rub out with a thumb. A dry wipe monthly and leather balm twice a year; see the leather care guide.

How it is made
Crazy horse leather, stitched by hand
Every piece is cut from full hides by local artisans. The waxed surface marks and darkens with use, so no two pieces age the same way.
- 01The material
We buy whole hides and reject about a third. What is left is graded by hand for grain, thickness and stretch.
- 02The cutting
Straps are cut along the spine where the hide is tightest, so a belt holds its shape instead of curling.
- 03The stitching
One row of saddle stitch, two needles, waxed linen thread. It cannot unravel the way a machine seam can.
- 04The finish
Edges bevelled, sanded, burnished four times, sealed with beeswax. Then the buckle goes on and it is checked.
