About this piece
The Monarch, in detail
The Monarch is the belt that changes the most. It arrives a warm honey tan and, worn daily, darkens to chestnut within a year, keeping every scuff and crease along the way. It is the most photographed piece in the range for that reason, and the one we recommend when someone asks for a belt that will look better in five years than it does in the box.
How it is made
Cut in one 3.5 mm piece from 100% full grain cow leather with a crazy horse finish, along the spine of the hide where the fibres are tightest, so the strap holds its shape rather than curling. The edges are bevelled, sanded and burnished and sealed with beeswax. The solid buckle sits on a removable screw post, so the belt can be shortened from the buckle end or the buckle swapped.
What it does with wear
Tan crazy horse leather shows the pull up effect more than any other colour. The wax lightens where the strap bends and darkens where hands and the buckle touch it, so the Monarch develops a lighter line along the edges and a deep glossy band at the buckle end. Scratches show as pale marks and most rub out with a thumb. The leather takes the oils from your hands and from the occasional conditioning and goes deeper and richer with every month.
Size and fit
Sizes 30 to 44 in even numbers. Measure a belt you already wear from the buckle bar to the hole you use and round to the nearest even number, or add two to your trouser size, and buy so the middle hole fits. Full method in how to measure belt size.
Delivery and returns
Rs 299 delivery anywhere in Pakistan in 3 to 5 working days, cash on delivery. Unused belts can be returned within 7 days. Add a message at checkout for a handwritten card in the box.

How it is made
Crazy horse leather, stitched by hand
Every piece is cut from full hides by local artisans. The waxed surface marks and darkens with use, so no two pieces age the same way.
- 01The material
We buy whole hides and reject about a third. What is left is graded by hand for grain, thickness and stretch.
- 02The cutting
Straps are cut along the spine where the hide is tightest, so a belt holds its shape instead of curling.
- 03The stitching
One row of saddle stitch, two needles, waxed linen thread. It cannot unravel the way a machine seam can.
- 04The finish
Edges bevelled, sanded, burnished four times, sealed with beeswax. Then the buckle goes on and it is checked.
