The name
Stagr takes its name from the stag. An antler is a record of the years behind it, thickened and scarred and branched, and none of it is covered up. We ask the same of leather. It should show its age rather than hide it.

How it is made
Every piece is cut from full hides by local artisans. The waxed surface marks and darkens with use, so no two pieces age the same way.

Straps are cut along the spine where the hide is tightest, so a belt holds its shape instead of curling.

What we hold to
Nothing is subcontracted. If something is wrong, the person who made it fixes it.

No bonded leather, no split hide, no plated buckles dressed up as brass.
Bring it back at any age. We re-stitch and re-burnish for the cost of the thread.
Questions
Every Stagr piece is made from 100% pure crazy horse leather: full grain cowhide treated with wax, which gives it its rugged look and a patina that deepens with use.

Each wallet and belt is cut and stitched by hand by our artisans and checked before it is packed and sent.
Yes. Many pieces can be personalised with monograms or embossing. Message us on WhatsApp with what you have in mind.
Keep it dry and away from direct heat. Wipe it with a soft cloth, and condition it now and then. Scuffs on crazy horse leather can often be rubbed out with your thumb.
