About this piece
The Regal, in detail
The Regal is the bifold without extras, and the lowest priced full wallet we make. One fold, card slots on both faces, notes along the back, the same full grain leather and the same hand stitching as everything else in the range. It is the right first handmade wallet, and the one to buy when a cheaper bifold has just peeled at the corners. This is the coffee version.
How it is made
Cut from 100% full grain cow leather with a crazy horse finish and skived by hand at the fold so it lies flat in a pocket. The slots are lined in calf rather than fabric, so they stretch to your cards and then stop. Every seam is a saddle stitch in waxed linen thread, two needles through each hole, which does not unravel when a thread wears. Nothing about the construction is cheaper than the Kingsmann; the Regal is simpler, not lesser.
What goes in it
Six to eight cards and a day's cash, in a back or jacket pocket. If you carry fewer, look at the Maverick or Purefold; if you carry a dozen, the Majestic trifold. The differences are in bifold vs trifold vs minimalist, and what you pay for at each price in leather wallet prices in Pakistan.
What it does with wear
The coffee surface lightens at the fold and corners and darkens where your hand holds it, and within a month the Regal looks like yours. Scratches in the wax rub out with a thumb. A dry wipe each month and a little leather balm twice a year is all it asks.

How it is made
Crazy horse leather, stitched by hand
Every piece is cut from full hides by local artisans. The waxed surface marks and darkens with use, so no two pieces age the same way.
- 01The material
We buy whole hides and reject about a third. What is left is graded by hand for grain, thickness and stretch.
- 02The cutting
Straps are cut along the spine where the hide is tightest, so a belt holds its shape instead of curling.
- 03The stitching
One row of saddle stitch, two needles, waxed linen thread. It cannot unravel the way a machine seam can.
- 04The finish
Edges bevelled, sanded, burnished four times, sealed with beeswax. Then the buckle goes on and it is checked.
