About this piece
The Quickdraw, in detail
The Quickdraw is a trifold leather wallet built around one idea: getting your card out fast. Push the tab at the bottom and the cards inside slide up, so you pick the one you need at a counter, a fuel pump or a toll plaza without digging through slots. This is the tan version.
How it works
The cards ride in a pop-up holder inside the wallet. One push on the tab lifts them; push them back down and they slide away again. The card you use most can sit behind the oval thumb window on the front, so you can slide it out without opening the wallet at all. The trifold flap wraps round the holder and carries your notes, and a zip pocket on the back holds coins, a SIM card or a spare key, which a pop-up card wallet usually has no room for.
Quickdraw or Majestic?
Both are trifolds at the same price. The Majestic is the classic: fold-out panels with card slots and a deep note section, for the man who carries ten or more cards and a stack of cash. The Quickdraw is for the man who wants his cards quickly, a zip for coins, and a compact wallet in the pocket. The full comparison of wallet styles is in bifold vs trifold vs minimalist.
The tan Quickdraw
Tan is the warmest of the three, a cognac brown that changes the most with use. Within a few months it deepens toward chestnut and the folds and edges go lighter, so no two tan wallets look alike after a year. It goes with brown shoes, a brown belt and anything casual.
What it does with wear
Crazy horse leather is full grain leather finished with oil and wax, so the tan surface lightens where it bends and darkens where your hands hold it. Scratches show pale in the wax and most rub out with a thumb. A dry wipe each month and leather balm twice a year is all the care it needs; the full routine is in our leather care guide.
Delivery and returns

How it is made
Crazy horse leather, stitched by hand
Every piece is cut from full hides by local artisans. The waxed surface marks and darkens with use, so no two pieces age the same way.
- 01The material
We buy whole hides and reject about a third. What is left is graded by hand for grain, thickness and stretch.
- 02The cutting
Straps are cut along the spine where the hide is tightest, so a belt holds its shape instead of curling.
- 03The stitching
One row of saddle stitch, two needles, waxed linen thread. It cannot unravel the way a machine seam can.
- 04The finish
Edges bevelled, sanded, burnished four times, sealed with beeswax. Then the buckle goes on and it is checked.
